The Rebirth of a Nation

May 2, 2011 11:00 PM Eastern Standard time; a day that will resonate thru the annals of time for years to come. We the people of the United States of America hereby declare a second “Fourth of July of our great Nation”. Because it defines the rebirth of a great nation, the good old USA, it is also a moment which we have all been waiting for, and thought would never come. But with faith and the persistence of the American people it became a reality…
I can recall very vividly what I was doing on that day. I was a senior Administrative Officer with the City of Miami Police Department. And I recalled receiving a call from my Captain to formalize a rapid reactionary force roster in the event of possible mass disturbance in our city. Every Police Officer was notified by phone to report to Police Headquarters for a field Force to handle any possible problem arising in our City.
It was a time of uncertainty and despair, a time of confusion in not knowing what was next to come… It was a time when our country as a whole came together as one nation under God united for one purpose, and one goal, to find out who was responsible for such a horrific and insane attack to our nation.
Not since WW II, when our country was so cowardly attacked my an enemy who's tentacles reach across the Pacific Ocean bringing our nation to its knees has anything of such magnitude happened. We were too relaxed and we had too much confidence that it could never happened again. Well it did, and it took us by surprise, a lesson learned, and learned well.
It has taken three presidents to initiate a strategy to find this individual who was so elusive in hiding for so many years in plain sight. To be brought to justice and finally closing a page on the war against terror. Let it be a warning to all those radicals that hide behind closed doors in dark places plotting against our way of life that they are next…
We must begin to build our nation the way it should be. Only thru strength can we guarantee our survival… For some unknown reason, our country has adapted a policy of been too politically correct… We must abandoned this believe because other countries can cares less how politically correct we are. When dealing with other Countries such as China, Russia, Venezuela, Iran and Cuba, we must do so thru strength not weakness.
It is my believe, this event that has taken place, other countries will begin to realize that the United States is not at sleep, we are fully awake and ready for anything that may come our way. The elimination of this individual does not put an end to the fight against terror. It only intensifies it, more so than ever before. Now we must be more vigilante than ever, because there are others waiting on line ready to take his place.
It is time for our country to start laying out a new strategy to solve our domestic issues and reevaluate the foreign aids we give other nations, which is money we could be spending in our own country. We must be faithful to our allies and small countries that look at us as means of refuge in the event they are attacked by other countries.
Our president, Mr. Obama, is trying to do is best in the time which has been allocate to him. For some reason, everyone feels that he can do everything all at once. It doesn’t work that way. Every decision and every action taken by him must be done in a precise fashion as to have it become reality. He has taken an enormous task for running the most powerful country on Earth. The president must have our support and given a vote of confidence so that he can finish his job which is running this country.
May 2, 20011, was a turnaround for the way this country is heading, and I believe we have the right man for job at hand and we are on our way to success in achieving our goals in establishing our status among other nations. Lest give our president the benefit of the doubt and not get him involved in insignificant things which his has no control over. His careful calculated decision on the advice of his staff on going after Osama Bin laden at this time was the right one.
The only thing to look out for now is the Tsunami wave heading our way on the retaliation which could be expected by Al-Qaida on his death… And if it does we must stand firm beside our President and show our support.
Al-Qaida is a Cancer which must be removed surgically if we expect to eradicate it. It will take time and patience something which the United States has plenty of.
